Alpha Delta Gamma Scholarship

The Alpha Delta Gamma Scholarship is awarded to students who are academically deserving, are current members of the Lambda Chapter of ADG, or the son, daughter, brother, sister, grandson, granddaughter or other direct relative of a chapter member alumnus. Students should exemplify the spirit of the 5 S’s (spiritual, scholastic, service, school spirit, and social). Selection by the ADG Scholarship Selection Committee (facilitated by Donor Relations) in conjunction with the Financial Aids Office. Scholarship recipients must agree to be enrolled at LMU for the upcoming academic year, and if the recipient is an active member of the Lambda Chapter, he must remain an active member in good standing for the upcoming year.

Must submit an essay (500-word max) describing ADG commitment as well as other qualifying information required.
The scholarship is renewable if the student continues to satisfy all requirements, but must apply annually to be considered.

To be considered, please submit an essay which discusses and explains, in detail, your commitment to the Five S’s (spiritual, scholastic, service, school spirit, and social) what they mean to you personally, and most important, concrete and specific examples of how you espouse and put these values into practice in your daily life. Where appropriate, be sure to cite examples of how you express your commitment to the Five S’s both within and outside of the fraternity context. (Non-ADG applicants confine your comments to the latter, while freshman applicants are encouraged to discuss any relevant activities and/or evidence of their commitment to the Five S’s during high school.) You should particularly focus on this commitment in terms of your interests and activities both at LMU and in the larger community.
